4 Months

In some ways it's hard to believe Clay is already 4 months, but in other ways it's been a LONG sleep deprived 4 months! Clay slept well for about 3 weeks, but after that he went back to waking frequently during the night for feedings. Most nights he stays up until 11pm or 12am and then wakes a few times throughout the night to eat. I'm not sure why he continues to wake up and I've tried everything to get him back but without success. I haven't had a full night of sleep in so long and my health is beginning to suffer. I have adrenal fatigue again so it's been pretty rough. I really hope something changes soon so I can get healthy again and enjoy playing with my children.

Despite our crazy sleep schedule, Clay is still a happy and fun little guy to have around. He's getting all the rest he needs, haha! He's a mover. Loves to stand, stomp his feet, roll, and cruise around in the walker. Nothing can keep him still. I have a feeling he's going to be my early walker so he can keep up with his sister!

This is his favorite thing to do during the day, cruise around the house:

Therese is almost fully potty trained. She started using the potty for about a month in my last trimester, but then decided she wanted to go back to diapers. I was so tired from my pregnancy that I didn't fight her and just waited for her to ask again. A few weeks ago she decided she wanted to wear her panties and go on the potty, so we let her. It's been smooth sailing ever since. She does it mostly by herself...runs to the bathroom, pulls down her pants, goes potty, gets dressed and washes her hands. Sometimes I don't even know she's gone until it's all over. It's been a dream. We only wear diapers at naptime and bedtime, and she usually wakes up from her nap dry. I'm so proud of her!

A funny story about Therese the other day: I asked her if Mommy and Daddy should have more babies or if we should be done. She paused for a moment and then said, "Be all done." Then I asked her, "Really? So you don't want anymore siblings? You're fine with just brother?" She then held up one finger and said, "No more babies. Just one baby." So...I guess we're done! hahaha!
