We're having...

...A GIRL!!!

I thought for sure we were having a boy, but it turns out we're having a girl instead. Regardless, we are overjoyed and thankful for our baby girl and look forward to meeting her in July!

Here are a few pictures of her:

Lately I've had a craving for doughnuts. I never eat them, I don't even remember the last time I had one, but I've had a craving for them nonetheless. Well, the craving must have been strong because two nights ago I had a dream that Aaron and I were picking out doughnuts. Lots of doughnuts-like three dozen!

So I was on the phone with a friend of mine from dance yesterday. She mentioned the word "doughnut" in our conversation and I had to tell her about my dream. Well, when I got to rehearsal last night, she had a box of a dozen Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, all for me! Umm, so delightful! Thanks so much Michelle, you rock!

Am I losing my mind?

Yesterday morning I awoke to an awful smell in my kitchen. This isn't that uncommon for me since I can smell everything right now. But this particular smell makes me pretty sick and I lose my cookies! I've figured out that it is garlic. Now I eat garlic all the time-I'm Italian, it would be un-Italian of me to despise it-but I use it pretty frequently so I have this lingering stench in my house. I'm okay eating it, but for some reason the left over smell drives me crazy.

So back to waking up. I cooked it the night before and when I awoke I thought I was going to hurl! So I go on a cleaning frenzy. I have to scrub the counters and sink, spray air neutralizer all over the house and light either a candle or oils. I grab the bottle of air neutralizer and I spray like crazy. I start in my kitchen, move to the dining area, then into the family room. I have doused everything, including the clean laundry and myself. At this moment, I realized that it didn't smell like my neutralizer, but rather Bleach!! I look down at the bottle and realize it's my Clorox hard surface cleaner...ahhhh!!!! What was I doing?!

I had already covered my entire downstairs with this and I didn't know how to reverse it, so I switched bottles, grabbing the right one this time and repeated the process. What could I do? "Don't fret," I tell myself, "you just sprayed Bleach all over you house. It will be okay."

Now looking at the picture you can see that they are similar. Similar? Yes. Exact? NO! I'm not sure how I mistook one for the other, I just blame it on preggo brain. Between my thyroid and now pregnancy, my brain is mush. I'm not sure how I'm even functioning anymore. I even asked one of the ladies that comes to my aerobic class her name again. She's there every week and I didn't remember asking for her name before. Oh well, right? Perhaps I need some brain exercises, like...Sudoku. I'm taking up Sudoku.
